Breaks Ground on Renovation Project

STILLWATER — It was smiles all around Tuesday as Sangre Ridge Elementary students gathered on their outdoor basketball court to take part in a groundbreaking ceremony for the just over $5 million Sangre Ridge Elementary construction and renovation project.

Fifth-graders Alison Dehon and Richard Martinez, both 11, represented the students and scooped a shovel-full of dirt alongside many others during the traditional photo-op south of the existing building.
