A pocket community is a planned community that consists of a grouping of smaller
residences, often around a courtyard or common garden, designed to promote a
close knit sense of community and neighborliness with an increased level of contact.

94 West Tiny Home Community

Narrate designed this concept for a tiny home community that could be site adapted to recreational sites around the southwest. This first community is located on the beautiful shores of Grand Lake, Oklahoma.

Nestled in the woods surrounding the lake on 3½ wooded, lake-side acres, this tiny home community is more than a collection of homes. It is an intentional “pocket community” focused on minimalism and fellowship among neighbors.

Crafted around an intimate, human scale, these small homes offer the perfect recreational getaway — one with a sense of belonging and a desire to linger. It is minutes from dining, golf, and the water, easily accessible by car, golf cart, or foot.  A 9-foot fence wraps around the gated property. Homes are separated by green belts, with a view of the lake as an added amenity.
