Neighborhood design has changed. Paving the way in Tulsa is the master planned community of Concord designed by Planning Design Group. The 117-acre site is a neighborhood designed around walking, sustainability, vibrancy, diversity and a mix of housing and commercial building types.
Selser Schaefer Architects was tasked with the design of the Community Core—the heart and center of Concord. Surrounded by a dense network of rowhouses, the core is a mixed-use, pedestrian-friendly hub that supports a variety of amenities from retail, restaurant and office uses to multi-purpose entertainment and open space. This is that great “third place” where neighbors are invited to linger and spend time getting to know one another.
