“The Brown-Kimbrough Center for Arts, Innovation and Creativity, affectionately known as Arts@302, is an art space designed to do more than merely display fine art. It’s out to serve and engage the community.”

The Brown-Kimbrough Center for Arts, Innovation & Creativity

Situated in the heart of downtown Broken Arrow, the historic Rose District’s once vibrant and bustling sidewalks had given way to sparse daytime traffic and a small collection of shops and businesses. But a transformation has begun. The City of Broken Arrow, along with private investment, is revitalizing the district — creating a vibrant, walkable community filled with small retail, businesses, entertainment, restaurants, and people at all times of day.

In support of this revitalization of its historic downtown Main Street, the citizens of Brokan Arrow overwhelmingly approved a proposition to build the Brown-Kimbrough Center for Arts, Innovation and Creativity — Arts@302 for short — to provide a place for people of all ages to come together.

Arts@302 is a resource for the community in many ways. Classrooms and studios offer spaces for classes and workshops available to artists of all ages and skill levels. Gallery spaces provide venues for events and art shows that support and share local talent and diversity. The building is open to the public throughout the day and into the evening as a hub for community gathering. It is the heart of the district!
