This remarkable non-profit provides its clients with independent life skills, marketable job training, community-based vocational placement and residential services through horticultural therapy.
Selser Schaefer Architects understands and respects the importance of A New Leaf’s mission and was delighted to be charged with the design of a 50-acre site in Owasso. This new development will provide on-site residential, administrative and retail functions to support the organization’s programs.
Inspired by the farmland it is sited on, the agrarian development will include multiple residential structures, a recreation | cafeteria building, administrative and maintenance buildings, a livestock barn and retail store all centered on horticulture production.
At the heart of this community will be “agrihoods.” Dwelling structures will be organized around two central communal planting fields.
