The design makes a bold creative statement and encourages interaction and collaboration among programs, faculty and students. Featuring state-of-the art technology and highly flexible spaces, the Center has become the core for Multimedia Education and Production. Included is one of the city’s largest professional television production studios, audio production/editing and web-based radio broadcasting and distance learning programs. Arts Education areas include 2D- and 3D- studios, digital media classrooms and photography studios. A multipurpose Event Space serves as an art gallery, lecture room, movie theatre or gala dining room. Terraces and a landscaped roof provide inspiring views and outdoor learning spaces.
In 2009 this project received an Honor Award, AIA Eastern Oklahoma and Innovator of the Year
Award from The Journal Record.
