CHEROKEE CHILD CARE AND DEVELOPMENT CENTER
A site nestled among Tahlequah, Oklahoma's tree-covered hills provided a wonderful location for this child development center. Inspired by these surroundings and the Cherokee culture, Selser Schaefer Architects created a facility that encourages and promotes the mental, physical, and social growth of the area's children.
Both exterior and interior design are inspired by the Cherokee Nation, its seven clans and traditional Cherokee colors. Selser Schaefer Architects' design ensures continuity with the other buildings on the Cherokee Nation's capital complex.
